Hiking
Trails
Our hiking trails are abundant with native Texas plant and wildlife,
making us a nature lovers paradise. Bird and deer watchers will be
especially happy.
Fishing
Lake Travis is known for its abundance of bass. Since we are located at
the confluence of the Pedernales River, the Colorado River, and Lake
Travis the channels run deep and fishing is good most of the year. You
can fish from our dock or bring your fishing boat and enjoy an
early morning run along the banks with a thermos of hot coffee. $5 per
person, limit 2 poles per person, each additional pole $5.
Golf
The Pedernales Country Club is a semi-private,
9 hole course located less than 2 miles away and not affiliated with the
Resort Ranch of Lake Travis. We do, however, like to promote business in
our community and want the golf enthusiasts that come to visit the
Ranch, to have a place to play and enhance their visit. (You know how
those golfers like to play around!)
What
a great place for a birthday party for a child or an adult. Add live
music, portable amusement rides, barbecue, or a steak and lobster dinner
complete with champagne to make your party perfect for that special
person in your life.
Our
large lighted tennis and basketball courts offer another form of outdoor
recreation that many guests find appealing. We also have a sand
volleyball court, playscape, and horseshoe pit.
